Did he go for just 26 mil or is there more to the deal? Why would he turn down a better offer a week or two ago unless there's more to this deal. SKY SPORTS would be all over this.

Id say there is more to it, my guess would be watch this space for future transfers between real to malaga, both permanent and loans...

Sorry now I didnt sell to barca at the time! Malaga were coming out very well of the deal I had 99% in place!

There was a triangle of transfers being worked on here:

Madrid and I had agreed 47m for Rodriquez, :cool:
I then went looking for a replacement and agreed 42m for Isco,:cool:
Malaga went looking for a replacement and seems to have settled on modric.

Madrid then tried to offer what we agreed on chat but his chairman would only allow 28m :mad:, i re-negotiated with malaga and he also would take 28m, so the deal was still on. The last price I think was offered on modric was 25m, so I offer to up my bid for isco to 30m to cover some of his loss as the 25 is more than he had started at(22m).


Madrid felt they were under selling Modric as he values him at 35m.

modric valued at 35, getting 25m => loss of 10m
rodriquez fee agreed at 47, getting 28 => loss of 19m

net result Madrid 9m better of than if the deals went through at origional prices. :rolleyes:

Next thing I see is Madrids offer of 26m for Isco agreed?!?!

You started going off on a huff yesterday saying i expect you to pay 8.5M for Berba and that its a joke! So I backed out of the deal with you and sold him for 7M to someone else! I could have got way more for Berba but naa.. I keep the market healthy :pac:

He cant just offer you a player and 10 mil on top of it! You still have to PAY for modric, and ALL of this is based on the assumption that the madrid manager wont just change his mind....

Lets remember lads not everyone manages the same way.

What might seem like cheating might just be a poor judgement and let's not get overally personal with people regarding the transfers.if lads think its cheating go too the transfers section and report the deal along with your reasons for reporting said deal.
