How are preparations going for the two teams Dortmund and Liverpool who will be battling it out tomorrow for the first bit of silverware of the season?

Are Dortmund going for a second string line-up to protect their star players for the Division 1 title run in?

Liverpool can hoping for mid table at best in the League and so are they putting all their eggs in the Cup Final basket?

They have played twice already this season, Once in the League which ended 2-2 and once in a friendly which ended 1-1,

    Something has got to give!!

In the most it'll be the lad's who got me this far. They've been great so far Christian Astu standing out playing 4 times and 4 goal's!!

My next two games are there for winning against the bottom 2 teams.

Two wins would put me on 40 points and around 12th place.

My games after that are hit and miss, I'm playing 5 of the top 6, 3rd bottom team and a mid table team. With 21 points to play for I'm hoping to get at least 10, which would put me on 50 and just outside the playoffs.

I'd be happy with that considering the shocking 3/4 of a season I had with the amount of losses I racked up. My squad is looking decent for next season.

Anyone know how much division 2 teams will get for transfer funds when the season is over?

You're dead right.... There is no way I will win this next match.... No way in hell.

not I flyer I reckon, that chelsea manager has turned the fortunes of the club around, same as the LA Galaxy manager ... worked miracles with the teams considering where the clubs were at when they took over ...

enough punishement for relegated manager to have to spent time in a lower league ... maybe block them from taking over clubs in Divisions above them for a season or something but sacking them? No!

The jobs we've done should allow us the chance to take over a club in a higher league if the opportunity arises! The Galaxy had 8 points when I took over 8 games ago. Now we've 23 and a chance of staying up.

you will get a chance,i think mini tournys for clubs that managers have quit would be a great idea.

I was only suggesting alternatives, I think punishing teams for getting relegated is not on at all but if you counter an argument to have to have a suggestion of your own, that was mine .... my main stand point is there should be no punishment other than the relegation it self

There's already a system in place that doesn't need changing. The highest ranked manager that wants the job gets it. It's the fairest way in my opinion

so people wanted to fire a manager only to replace them with another higher ranked manager...ah im even more opposed to the idea now. :D

Manager ranking isn't based on league or position, me for example. I'm ranked 2nd and I'm Sao Paulo in Div 3. It's fair enough in my opinion

i know how the managing rating works, sure im at the bottom :P,i doubt you will ever leave your club if your success continues.

ah i dont think this is an issue at all going by the poll.

Wofsburg will do well to get a point form here on in (have you seen their fixtures) chelsea have a easy run in as do AC Milan (to a certain extent) you have a head start, just beat the lads when you play them and your safe, Man u play only 1 team in the bottom 3 and have tough games coming up.

    i think Man U (17th) Wolfsburg (18th) Portsmouth (20th) will go down

A quick question lads, i have taken over a load of other teams, basically so i can go shopping an buy loads of players!! Anyway, i am making a few bids and they won't go through as "the players club will drop below 15 outfield players" but the squads in question have over 30 players in their squads! Any idea why it's happening?
