If so what happens to a player when he moves to an external club,like at some stage will they put him up for transfer or something?

Eh lads - when i change my preferred formation in the tactics screen, i cant see an option to save it.
Am i losing it or what??

Lads, I've another player sold here for 6 mil... Bloody chairman won't let him go for less than 7.6, is there anything I can do?
