    Still in the same spot I was at the start of the transfer window really, one world class defender away from an absolutely world class first 11

    Have made some good youth additions, some decent squad options have come in, and I have shifted alot of dead wood, guys who I dont think will ever be good enough and some young lads I can do without to raise some cash.

    A transfer window would be no good from my point of view, I say this as a big club of course, but if I can get my hands on the defender I want then I will be done with it anyway more then likely for a while so it will gradually slow down for others like that too I imagine.

    On the off chance that a player I like does become available at any stage though I would like the opportunity to just buy him rather then have to wait a few weeks to try. Dont see what we gain from barring transfers at any stage, the market is buzzing now because its new and people are wheeling, dealing and improving their squads, it will slow down.

    If I change my line up on my phone will it go through? I can't find any confirm squad button and I had the reserves playing in the friendly last night

    I changed mine on my phone a few times no problem.

    By the way, I think we should all use out mobile numbers as out nickname on SM ... imagine if at 3:45 in the morning you decide you need a AM(C) but no one is online her on on SM?!?!? How will you initiate negotiations?!?:P

    Maybe they are waiting to see if anyone else bids higher
