Running trails in Prahran

    Want to do some 10km+ runs around Prahran but not on footpaths. Anyone have any recommendations for runs around/near Prahran. Don't fancy The Tan or Albert Park- need a change....

    Anyone got any suggestions?

    bike trail from chapel street run either towards the city and back though the tan or go east on the trail and come back on yourself

    You won't find trails around there really. As you say, the Tan and Albert Park are the boring options.

    Depends how far you are willing to travel but I recommend Wilson Reserve and Chelsworth Park up near Ivanhoe. Train stops near by and lots of car parking space. You can get a great out and back 30km run in without touching footpath.

    Yarra Bend Park (off Studley Park Road) is another good spot.
