Its not great. The 16GB of RAM is completely unnecessary and the case+PSU are pretty terrible. It doesn't have a copy of windows either, so make sure you consider that in your budget. Don't expect to play any games on it either.

You could do worse for an entry level computer, but all in all its pretty sub-par.

Thanks for the feedback. I won't be using it for an sort of gaming. I will be using it for autocad/autocad revit.

Could you suggest anywhere online that does good deals and maybe lets you select what you want in the PC?

In reality all i want is:
At least 1tb of hd space
    USB3
    Fast processor
    8gigs of ram?

Well, this computer is certainly not "superfast" but the price is about right for what you'll get.

The FX 4100 is comparable to an Intel Core i3, the HD 6450 is a multimedia card and not suitable for gaming. 16 GB RAM is somewhat of an overkill though. You'll also need an operating system.

If you want to play games, you might be better off with an AMD A-10, the CPU is faster and the on-chip HD 7660D is much better than the HD 6450. At PC Specialist, you'll get a desktop with an A-10, 8 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD for €376 (incl. delivery, no OS), just as an example.

Or go to the PC builder forum and post your requirements there, the lads will help you out. ;)

So you'll need processing power more than anything else. Again, build it yourself, or have a look at PC Specialist. Example: Core i5, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD, no OS, delivery to Ireland = £409 / €474 (add £83 for a Core i7)

TBH Fighting, what can you use from your current machine? If you already had Windows, would an upgraded mobo/CPU/RAM/gfx card do ye?

my current pc is a medion and the psu went, and a couple of capacitors are gone on the motherboard so i'm not even going to get it repaired tbh

If you don't want to build yourself and if you already have an operating system, check the link in my previous post. A quad Core i7 w 8 GB RAM and 1 TB HDD will set you back 567 yoyos. And that's about as "quick" as it gets if you're on a budget.
