Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Should be a good game. German cup, not league.

    Lineups:

Bayern: Neuer - Lahm, van Buyten, Dante, Alaba - Martinez, Schweinsteiger - Müller, Kroos, Robben - Mandzukic

Dortmund: Weidenfeller - Piszczek, Subotic, Santana, Schmelzer - Bender, Gündogan - Götze, Reus, Großkreutz - Lewandowski

Pretty much full strength line ups

Pretty much full strength line ups

Good sides alright, Ribery is suspended and Hummels has the flu, Badstuber still out. Thought Boateng might have started ahead of Van Buyten though.

Dortmund are 4/1 for the win, not a bad price at all.

Nickname is Kuba, probably best to stick with that :pac:

I think they've gone with Großkreutz because he's more reliable defensively.

Close from Robben. Bayern starting the strongest here

Muller could have easily not gotten out of the way there and gone down under that mindless challenge.

How are you keeping? Hope, you support the right team ;)

Munich a bit too dominant atm, they are going a bit mad on the netradio already about the ref as well

You won't get much back, they were sort of favourites. But have a guess, which team I'm backing :D

    Bayern ?

    :pac:

I was thinking of putting some cash on either Mandzukic or Lewandowski to score anytime, but I forgot :o

Haha he was enjoying that slow waltz back to the half way line. Nice finish, he still has it

Santana and Subotic should never play together.

Hummels might have had some shockers recently but they haven't a clue how to play without him, defensively or when it comes to attacking. Neither of their CBs can pass and start an attack like he can.

There's at least 6 players on the pitch tonight better than Gareth Bale.

    :p

Who ever sits next to him on the bus home, needs some solid armor, imo

What an attack that was, deserved a goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,627 ✭✭✭Lawrence1895

That ref is slightly on Munich's side, is he?

Should have been a Yellow for Dante, imo

Should have been Red for Martinez, but what do you expect from someone like him. Mercenary

Mercenary? He didn't run down his contract. Munich paid big money for him. He gave six good years to the club and decided it was time to move on after spending a couple of months with Bielsa. And its not like he started his career with Athletic either.

I think its very odd that both he and Llorente, the clubs two biggest stars both decided they wanted to leave after spending a couple of months under Bielsa.

I think, it's very odd that Bielsa is still manager...
