Suggestions for new car

    I am on the look out for a new (to me) car with the following requirements:
    • Able to tow a trailer, weight of trailer and load ~1300kg
    • Preferably Diesel
    • Preferably an estate
    • Not a jeep
    • Budget €5,000
    I do around 15,000 miles a year commuting to work, mostly on motorways and another 2,000 miles approx towing my race car around the place.

    I had been thinking along the lines of an Octavia or Mondeo or something similar but not really too sure what to go for really.

    Any suggestions??
