Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does the iPhone 4s justify a €170 difference between it and the iPhone 4?

Can't make up my mind between the two of them and totally not bothered about SIRI, I know I won't use it.

As for the A5 chip, not that bothered either as I don't 'game'.

The only thing I'm drawn by is the 8mp camera, but does an extra €170 justify a better camera?

Am I missing any other major differences?

Camera is much better and browsing, launching apps a little faster.

The Maps app is in 3D - and you can do panoramic photos on the 4S (you can download apps to do similar on 4)

there are likely to be more features in newer OS's as they get released that wont work (like the above) on 4.

Siri is not much use until they support Ireland - you can do some tricks with it like set alarms, make reminders to yourself and send SMS - but all the useful stuff that involves location is disabled.

Seems a lot of euros in the difference though - are you comparing devices with the same memory?

It think it does justify the €170 the iphone 4 is nearly 3 years old now and it wont be long until it's unsupported by apple.

    Definitely no.

My missis has the 4S when I had the 4. No appreciable difference, afaic.
Both great phones. The iPhone 5 is the next real step.
