Super Smash Bros U is down to €25 in Smyths, if you can find a copy. Waterford and Galway say they have it.

CeX have a few. I keep getting tempted by them but I have no idea where I'll get the time to play when there so much on the Switch and Ps4 already :(

Wait until July 28th for the New 2DS, which has all the best bits of the 2DS (ie the price) with all the best bits of the 3DS (it closes, it runs n3DS software, it uh... reads Amiibos) ? They look the biz too. If nothing else, 3DS prices may take a knock.

New 3DS is €179 in Argos.

    http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/3775105.htm

I'm tempted to buy that rather than wait for the New 2DS. But then I think I should add another €150 and get a Switch.

I think I'll hold out and see what happens when the new one releases. 170 is still a lot of cash.

The new 2DS is £129 on Amazon so probably around €140-€150 here.

Keep an eye on eBay. I got what honestly looks to be a brand new New 3DS for €79 delivered only last week. It's the Style Boutique 2 bundle and even the code for the download was unused.

It was from this crowd http://stores.ebay.ie/luzerntech/ who specialise in refurbished gear. They don't have any 3DS' at the moment but their stock seems to update daily.

Be careful with them - I'm glad you got lucky - I bought an xbox 360 from them back in day and it arrived with 3 rings of death - they were fine to deal with in relation to returning the item.

I was having a gawk through Amazon just now and see Steam World Collection: Steam World Heist + Steam World Dig eShop Selects (Nintendo Wii U) is £12.98. It's normally £20, which is what I paid. I should have bought most of my games now, I would have saved a small fortune because I've barely made a scratch in my backlog as a large portion sit unopened and unplayed.

Snake Pass is 40% off on the Australian Switch eShop. I don't know about Europe. Maybe an announcement will come in Thursday's eShop update. I read too that it was down from €20 to €12 on PS4 here a couple of weeks ago.

    Oh you sweet summer child....

Once Argos did good deals on Pokemon Black/White 2. And Tesco sold off the Pokewalker editions for HG/SS for a fiver each. So to answer your question, "2013". But in the main, Pokemon games are never cheap. If you hurry you can still get X/Y and Sun/Moon for normal retail prices thought!

Actually, Amazon were doing the Collectors Edition of Pokemon Moon for £29.99 a few times inthe last couple of months. You could see if you can flog the Steelbook it comes with for a few quid and offset the cost?

I got Moon version in Argos maybe about a couple months ago for €31.99 I think, so they might reduce it again, worth keeping an eye on the website. :)

I LOVE the rhythm paradise games. I bought it new the goddamn day it dropped on the eshop. I cannot praise them enough, and megamix is the best/only one you really need to own.

I'll never forget the year there was an e3 or a nintendo direct or something where mid conference Nintendo were like

"We're releasing Rhythm Paradise Megamix...... RIGHT NOW, it's available as you're watching this!"

And I was like "OMFGWTFBBQ!!!" *falls over self running to eshop*

That son of a bitch presenting forgot to mention "USA only"....

I'm just missing the GBA one.
I know I can get it via dodgy means, but I'd rather the original cart, pop that bad boy into my GB Micro and let the happiness happen!

They're all great, but the GBA one is the worst. At points it's just NOT a rhythm game, but a reaction/memorisation game set to music.

I have very specific memories of being stuck on Monkey Tap 2, and having to find a youtube video of a perfect run, converting it to an MP3, and adding it to my ipod, until I'd heard it enough times that I'd memorised where the taps are and could pass the song.

As a lover of rhythm games, and a lover of rhythm paradise in particular, the fact I had to do that is straight up bullsh1t.

SanDisk Ultra 128 GB MicroSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with SD Adapter - Frustration Free Packaging https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B013UDL5HU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_0SpzzbYKPDW08

Good price for a micro SD for Switch. Requires Amazon prime for the discount.

I bought this card myself a few months back and have had no issues.

And, really cool, it will work with the Taito Paddle controller that works with the DS and DS Lite, I've got one and it's amazing with this game

Looking on ebay, new copies are available in and around that price (when converted to euro). Not a terrible deal but maybe not a great one either?

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Sorry, don't have a 3DS. Just thought it might be of interest for someone who does.

It's a great price, the amiibos the game and a soundtrack if I had the money I'd probably go for it at that price.

  • Registered Users Posts: 328 ✭✭Thar_Cian

It's also on the European Amazons for similar prices.

Thats the price it should be sans GameStop tax, it's currently €70 plus shipping from Amazon Spain.

Metroid Samus Returns is currently €35 including shipping from Amazon France.

Pity GameStop aren't getting the LE, sold out in milliseconds everywhere. Nintendo really should be at least doubling the runs on most of their LEs.
