CDkeys have mario maker as a daily deal for €45.99

Or it’s 599 SEK (56.85ish but they don’t accept revolut so card fees as well) for the bundle with a year of Nintendo Switch Online on the Swedish eshop.

Pay with your Revolut via Paypal with currency converter off.

I never fail to be disappointed when Online Sub isn't a streaming copy of Das Boot.

    oooo-ah-ooo-ooo-ooo-oooo ooooo-ah-oooo-oooo-oooo-ooooo oooooooooooooo!

Gal Metal for £15 on Base

Bear in mind that you get a lot of audio synch issues when it's played on the telly so if you feel wierd air-drumming in table-top, don't buy it. Otherwise, this is great fun. The social sim aspect though is a bit tagged on and pointless feeling. You're expecting a japanese game where the baddies have tentacles and you play a boy who's been transplanted into a teenage girl's body to go to certain places. If it does, it's later in the game than I got! So tailor your expectations to "just" drumming and hanging out with your besties.

Ooh there's a whole "under 20" sale on over there

There's a bunch of games I never heard of with animé faces on the covers - presume they'll be either worth a fortune or sold for 5c in 2 years time - Gamblers, READY!

    For the King

I haven't played it. I just like the look of it. Rogue-esque hex-crawler.

    Yoku's Island Express

You should already have this. But buy it now and pretend you got it from Smyths for 20 quid!

Sushi Strikers is in there, and it is fun, but pretty sure that one of the other places (and at one point Amazon) were doing this for closer to a tenner.

Every single one of the previous Zelda amiibo's seem to be back in stock in the Nintendo store. The new Links Awakening one is only one currently not in stock at time of posting this.

Some are re-stock pre order for later in the year.

Trials Rising Gold Edition in on amazon France for €12.97 - €18.41 delivered. It is also £17 (€20) on amazon UK

    https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B07DMFFKG5

You could add to the order from France the Zelda Pixel Pal for €7.55. It is normally €15, and shipping for both stays at €5.30
    https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B0766356BP
Edited - Many of them seem to be €7.50 ish on amazon France, but are over £11 on amazon UK.

    Both would be €26.34 delivered.

MyMemory branded 256GB Micro SD - €24.14 using code "MM16" until midnight tonight.

Theyre just rebranded Integral cards and come with a life time warranty.

I already have the 128GB version in my PS Vita over a year without any issues.

If anyone ordered this, have you received it yet? I know it's coming from the UK, but it has been 9 days now and no sign.

    I got mine today.

Even though it says it's a UK company, mine was shipped from Holland

In the past year, their shipping has become rrreeeeaaaallll slow. It (seems to) come from China to Switzerland and then to Ireland.

It is almost faster to order from China directly now.
It is as though they take the order, then make the order and then have to sort out customs etc. and ship them.

Good stuff. Should be waiting for me at home tonight so. Thanks guys.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,211 ✭✭✭✭Suckit

Shining Resonance Refrain: Standard Edition is on amazon.com for $19.97 + $10.98 shipping + taxes to Ireland = €27.64 delivered. (Depending on how you pay N26/Revolut and what currency you pay in)

Amazon will refund the tax - it is just added as standard, and as there is no vat due on it, you will be charged but refunded €5.36 = total €22.28
You can double check that on amazon chat, I have asked them before and they have confirmed with me, but I have never had to ask for the refund yet.

While I was posting this, it now is shipped in 1-2 months.

I don't know if the Switch ports are good as I played them on Steam, but at the sale price Sky Rogue and Mark of the Ninja are both worth a look. Sky Rogue is very much inspired by the look of the SNES Starwing game but plays more arcade-like. And Mark of the Ninja is a great 2d stealth/platformer sort of mashup with a nifty mechanism for determining when enemies become aware of you.

Is BOTW DLC worth picking up, I've finished the main game and thinking it might be a good excuse to get back to Hyrule

Excellent. I was just about to finally get the BotW and Splatoon expansions.

  • Registered Users Posts: 328 ✭✭Thar_Cian

There's still no sign of the Mario + Rabbids DLC getting a reduction.

It's not amazing, but it's an excuse to get a good 20 more hours out of Hyrule, and a few extra costumes, and an extra item for the Sheikah Slate. For the price, it's definitely worth it.

If you haven't got Horizon Chase Turbo(also on sale), get it instead. A really good modern racer with vibes of Out Run and the SNES Top Gear games

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,443 ✭✭✭WeleaseWoderick

Considering getting the BOTW DLC at that price. I haven't picked up the game in probably more than 18 months but have two long flights coming up so might be worth getting back into it for that.

Agree with the above recommendation for Horizon Chase Turbo. Really enjoyable game and ideal for playing on Switch.

That sale brings the Resident Evils down to the price they really should be. Think I'll get 4.

Is Starlink worth it? And if so, am I better going for the deluxe version?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,442 ✭✭✭Irish Halo

I really enjoyed it and would spend the extra tenner to get all the ships and weapons.

Yes, if only for the fact that you get 6 lives for some of the tougher bosses, rather than one, and having to go repair each time.
