Walking Dead Final Season €10 on Switch in Smyths

You have to wait for other episodes just to note. I think last one out next year. You get to play the 1st one only and rest are downloaded when available.

Last ep was released in March this year. Great ending after a couple of misfires over the previous seasons. Sadly still no sign of Skyground dropping the whole collection on Switch like they're doing for PS4/XBone.

i'll add it to the bought bargains i may never play :)

No reason not to play it. It's nice and short (and very cool). I played the first section last night (about 5 or 6 levels) and it's still great. I got it on PC a few years ago.

    Gyro controls are interesting. :)

Played it last night, in portable mode, without the gyro controls, and completed the main story. Of course, there's lots that opens up then, but it was a lot of fun! Think I prefer the VR one (which is quite different) because of the actual movement, and being able to use both hands, but this played better than I'd expected it to!

Zelda I suppose, The drift has gone wild I have a repair kit but I hate the clip in controllers

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,143 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

Better getting a controller with rumble for zelda for the feedback on shrine location and battling monsters post in the botw thread if anyone has tried this controller on zelda and what do they think. I play in handheld only but might give one of these a try if they're any use

If you've a few gold coins floating around on a US eShop account, this is a cracking deal...
    (Superbeat Xonic)

Edit: Ha! I had $0.91 in Gold Coins. Sweet. :D:D
Just grabbed it through my browser.

Gamestop are doing a trade in offer where you can pre-order a game for a tenner if you trade in one game: https://www.gamestop.ie/gamescom

Could be handy for those wanting to get Astral Chain or link's Awakening in the next few weeks.

My Russian cousin, Damoski, bought me a copy following your post the other day about the price there!

The Katana-only challenges are really interesting!!!

I'm only seeing 50% off when you trade in a game: https://www.gamestop.ie/trade-list

Where's the tenner deal or am I missing it ? (Wouldn't be the first time !)

You can buy canadian credit here:

    https://www.pcgamesupply.com/Nintendo-eShop/

I haven't done it, but I've used them for US credit, no problems.

You'll have to set up a canadian account on your Switch.

I have crash team racing (unwanted gift) and spiderman (completed it) on disc in the house for xbox and ps4. If i can convert those into Link's Awakening and Astral chain that will be a good bit of business!

Steep for Switch is on that list. Was that even released?
Pretty sure a couple of them were never released physically either....
Still, any chance to offload BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle for effectively more than I paid for it is great, the tutorial for that game was so incredibly long, slow and dull, like an antique dentist drill.

Edit : Not amazing but if you're a completist, Breath of the Wild for WiiU is £29.99 on Amazon at the moment

There are other games on that list that won't be released until after the list is updated again.

For the longest time Omega Labyrinth Z on PS4 was on that list despite the western release being cancelled due to Sonys new content guidelines. Doesn't help that PEGI refused classification on it either.

Argos currently have a lot of big Nintendo titles on a buy one, get one half price offer.

Not entirely clear from the website what way it worked but when I added Yoshi & Mario Maker 2 to the basket, it knocked €25 off the price!
