Arkham City is great. Alas, it's the only one of the games I'm going to mention that I've personally played
Assassin's creed 3 is apparently good and is about £13 on Amazon right now
There's at least one seller doing Sonic Racing for around £16 or £17, that's also apparently quite good.

Looks like Gamestop have skipped both Nintendo platforms and jumped to PS4 pre-orders
And then straight back to Headphones, where it all began. Oh, the humanity!

If the original, pre-discount price of the game would have qualified for free delivery, then you will receive free delivery even on the discounted price.

It's essentially down to the leniency of the customs officers processing the stuff.
They'll let a lot of low cost games/dvds etc through, but there's still the risk that they could hold them and demand VAT payment for them.

(Of course this only applies to items from outside the EU/EEC/Euro Zone/Whatever-they-call-the-EU-trade-agreement-thingy-these-days)

I was "charged" duty on one back when they were cdwow, but I responded to the email they sent me and they never actually sent me a bill or anything, so dunno.
I've ordered a lot more than once from them.

I had to go back to my post to see if I wrote it right, my pre-order arrived 10 days after the game came out, they shipped it the day after it launched I think, it was a Saturday.

For comparison, I ordered two pre-orders on thehut Sunday night, and lost world, it came by dpd courier today.
I got free next day delivery for spending so much I think at the checkout it had normal and registered delivery for £0 so I choose registered for the craic, very impressed.
Been playing too many good games today.

I went for it. Rayman out of stock, so I added the Sonic racing game instead. I also had a voucher for 20 quid which I'd forgotten.

Chucked in Mario to make it €260 ish for the pack.

I was keeping an eye on this deal as the clock was ticking down. I went off to grab a coffee and my laptop decided to restart and download software for essential maintenance. With 2 minutes to go.:eek:

I put the sale through on my mobile. While I have no idea how much stock is available, it surely isn't a great sign that the availability levels for the deal is still hovering around 87%. My panic to get this sorted before heading out, not entirely warranted.

I thought it would go for £199 and if they wanted to get it moving they should have pitched it at £180.

The price listed equates to €250, so you'd be better off buying the Premium pack from Argos.

One point worth noting is that the 8GB model was discontinued, so it's now "limited edition" and might be worth something in the future!

Lego City Undercover Wii U pack for £199. It's not even a lightning deal!
Definitely more worthwhile than the 8GB pack above, unless you know someone who will buy the 3 crap games off you and swap them for a WiiMote and Mario 3D World

So I am tempted to get ZombiU too, had it at launch, didnt think it was worth the price at the time (€50 or so) and sold it on, but if its gonna be €9.99 on the 26th I might double dip, hope loads of people buy it and Ubisoft see good sales and make a better sequel since they said there wouldnt be a sequel due to bad sales. Gonna get Ducktales, Resy and Cloudberry Kingdom too.


One thing though, I REALLY dont understand how this digital deluxe thing works, can someone explain it to me and how I go about setting it all up? Thanks

If you've got a WiiU Premium you get about 8% back from purchases in points, once you hit 500 points on the website you can cash it in for a €5 eShop code.
Just log into https://p.nintendo.net/deluxe with your Nintendo ID and it'll show all your purchases and how many points you've got so far.
