If the government is going to provide "free education" then the likes of such basic necessities shouldn't be paid out of parents' pockets, for fee-paying or non-fee-paying schools. In the case of the former, what you're paying for is what's conceived as "extra-privileges and opportunites" provided by the school.

    I forgot to add that our class has been coming in early two mornings a week since 5th year at 8:30 as we have maths first thing two mornings each week.

    Hence, finished the course for next Friday

    Any idea how far in? An hour and a quarter is a lot of auld 'wans and Joe Duffy!

    EDIT: FYI it's around 16mins in, though it's not much that hasn't been talked about on here before!
