Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

TV problems

I purchased a LG LW450 (3d LED) tv from Power City in January 2012. The set developed a blurry picture and I got onto LG directly in November 2012 to get fixed. It was then sent to a repair shop in Dublin.
They replaced the firmware and I got the set back in December but the fault wasn't resolved.
I then sent it away again in December to get fixed again. they saw the fault this time and replaced the main (not to sure what the main is). When I got it back in January 2013 it still wasn't fixed.
I sent it away a third time to get fixed in February 2013 and got it back this week. The problem still hasn't been resolved. The guy fixing it said that he didn't know what to do so he sent it back to me (didn't fix anything) so that I could try and sort it out with LG.
I rang LG and they got back to me today saying that they'd have to send it away to get fixed again. I told them that the guy can't fix it and that they should replace the set. The guy said that he will talk to his managers and get back to me.

Basically I'm looking for advice as I think LG will just try to fob me off as they aren't convinced there is a problem. Also I was told that if the fault can't be fixed after the third attempt, that I receive a new set. Is this true?

What did you view on this set & how were any external tuners & players connected?

on a lot of moving pictures (slow and fast moving) there is a blur or judder on the screen. Darker images come out worst. It happens on cable, hdmi and usb inputs

Did you try a factory reset at any stage? Do you know if any settings could have been changed prior to the problem appearing?

It's possible the "repair" could have resulted in the tv being returned to original settings, but hard to say, not really knowing what was actually done.
