Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Movies and TV on iPad 4th generation

    Hi everyone

    I have been lucky enough to be given a 32gb cellular iPad 4 from my work.

    Does anybody have any recommendations about how I can put films and TV shows onto it from my mac without having to pay the huge cost associated with iTunes downloads? My brother has already put a DVD or two onto it with some software, but I'd love to have some other films on it for the train if people had recommendations.

    I was going to suggest VLC as that's what I use, but it seems to be gone fom the app store. AVPlayer HD seems to be just as useful, according to a thread I found on MacRumors.

    Can anyone suggest an app for this?

    My movie collection is stored on a NAS and accessed via Apple TV (XBMC). Going away for a week and I would like to transfer some movies to the ipad2.
