37 with Saurez(c), Bale and Walcott to play, I might get over 50 for the week which I'll be happy with.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,369 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    I got lucky.

no Sturridge for Liverpool. no Townsend for QPR. Demel coming off my bench.

    nice.

25 with Bale,Zab,Walcott and Auguero to come, poor really

34 with Suarez, Bale, Walcott and Dawson to play. Solid enough but RVP as captain ahead of Suarez or Bale could hurt me. 50 would be a good score for me this week, I'd take that right now.

Choose Mata over Fellani owing to the doubts, should have stuck with my gut.

34 with Suarez, Aguero, Bale and Jose Enrique to play. Captain Michu only got an extra point for his CS, but I'll take it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,665 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

Finally got something from Rooney. 29 with Gerrard, Bale, Dawson, Walcott and Aguero (c) to go plus Harte to come in with 4.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,251 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

19 with Enrique, Zabaleta, Bale, Walcott and Suarez left. Bale is captain.

RVP has outscored all my other strikers and mids who've played and I left him on the bench!

Could do with Suarez just getting a goal or assist and nothing more.

Need Bale to out score him anyway.

I've already had near 2 hours of worrying about RVP so I'm disappearing off to the Meath Cavan game.

Hopefully it'll be 1-0, Enrique goal with Suarez assist.

    Downing goal.

    Coutinho assist.

I effectively have 21 when Puncheon and Harte come in for Sturridge and Rafael. Need a big day tomorrow from Dawson, Bale(c), Walcott, and Aguero.

Goalfest for Captain Suarez and a consolation from Maloney would be nice!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭roryc

There is no team in the Premier League I would rather Liverpool to be playing now over Wigan. This has the potential to be very high scoring.

as I said...petrified of Suarez going crazy.

I'd have taken only 1 goal from him before the game as a good result.

Another for Suarez cant see it going down as OG

that'll be a suarez goal, it didn't come back off the post onto the keeper as the commentator originally said.

He better...! I know I said I wanted Maloney to get a goal but...:p

Suarez is getting a hat trick here.

    no question.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭roryc

FF have given it to him. Hopefully he keeps it.

On 42 (-4 points) so far, this week is starting to look a lot better. Had I not sold Fellaini and RVP I'd be on 58.

Praying Bale has an off day tomorrow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,369 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

with this from Luis I need captain Bale to at least score.

  • Registered Users Posts: 163 ✭✭NN215

Bench fellaini, but lucky me, taarabt didnt even played today.
So he will slot back in.

Countinho looks good though, with 2 assist already.

Suarez should get minimum 13 points from this match.

The RVP droppers aren't looking quite so foolish now :)

    Is that a Johnson assist?

    edit: yes it is

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,369 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

never in doubt once I saw which Wigan turned up.

I need 2 Bale goals tomorrow now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 163 ✭✭NN215

    hat trick to my captain.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭Padkir

Having a great day! 4 teams kept clean sheets; I had a defender from 3 and a keeper from the other! Mata did nothing and Taraabt didn't play but with Luis scoring all round him and Cazorla and Bale to play tomorrow and Clichy on Monday; this is looking like an excellent week!! :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,736 ✭✭✭OctavarIan

For **** sake. Switched captain from Suarez to Bale yesterday after convincing myself that form would win over fixture. FML

    they were never foolish.

it was always merely a risk.

those who brought in Suarez for him have nailed it, and fair play.

I remember the weekend United beat Arsenal 8-2, had young and Rooney. Got over 100 points that week, was delighted.

Have 54 so far this week, hopefully Johnson gets a clean sheet, and then have Bale and Lennon to play tomorrow. Also have Demel on the bench, but he won't come on. :(

That's not what a bunch of dopes said earlier as soon as the Utd line up was announced.

Best captaincy choice for a long time, still have RVP as well.

Yeah, since Bale's hat-trick over the Christmas!

Funny how it goes; the first 12/14 games I couldn't pick a captain to do anything but every week since Christmas my captain has got me at least 12 points!:D

What the fcuk are you talking about?

    FCUK. Just fcuk fcuk fcuk.

    18 points.

Third alsolute disaster in a row. I've already dropped 20 places in boards.ie league in last two week to about 40th. I'll be dropping 40 places this week alone. Hell, I might not even be in the top 100 after this debacle.
Off the top of main private league now too. No Suarez. Sturridge not playing.
    RVP is sold.

I'll need an 8 point hit to field a team next week. Half of them will be sh!t players anyway. FCUK.

Liverpool losing their CS would be nice.

What I love a mbiut Liverpool is they kill teams off even if they are winning 2-0. Rogers could be resting Suarez after 60 but refuses to

You were certainly not guilty but at the beginning of this thread there was a lot of lads patting themselves on the back about Van Persie starting and all the points he was going to get, as if they really had their fingers on the pulse, I know that I'm easily annoyed but this was before the games even kicked off. Considering the tone of that particular debate you can't blame fella's for gloating a bit about Suarez big haul, personally I don't care, I've got Sturridge and Aguero was my RVP replacement so that is yet to be seen.

    yup.

even though I don't have Suarez, and he'll get 17, that could easily have been more.

    I'm actually somewhat content!

If captain Bale is involved in 2 goals tomorrow, which is more than possible, I'll be fine. even if he just scores, I'll live with that.

Aguero doing something would be a lovely bonus too as a differential.

36 with 3 to play.. Hope Bale, Walcott and Aguero go goal crazy

I have never been more relieved to imagine a final whistle being blown. Stunned it was only a hattrick. Well done Suarwz owners and captainers.
