in a game as simple and straight forward as this, Allen is still proving highly disappointing. Sloppy on the ball, stupid tackle there, and to be hyper critical he shied out of a 50 50 ball which if he gets his head on it, it was a goal for him...

Feel sorry for Henderson. Hope he gets 45.

I though Kone was meant to be good thus far he's been next to uselesseverytime he seems to miss control the ball pretty terrible.

McCarthy looks the only decent Wigan player out there so far but even he doesn't seem to be bothered to track gerrards runs from midfield.

Did you see the goals?

Even to beat a crap team you have to play decent football and Liverpool have done exactly that and deserve credit for it.

Beating them 7-0 would be less of an achievement now as the game is won and Wigan are pyschologically gone.

Coutinho allowing Suarez to stay forward and not chase the ball has made a big difference to Liverpool's play. If Suarez can concentrate solely on goalscoring he is twice as dangerous as when he is the jack of all trades attacker he sometimes is asked to play.

Looking like we dodged a bullet with Martinez last summer, his team almost coming to blows on the pitch is a disgrace.

Couthino has been great, and I hope both Downing and Suarez stay this summer.
