No Sound - Have to re-install adobe flash player

As per heading - I have to keep re-installing Adobe Flash Player to get the sound back on my computer. What is the problem? I notice also that when I watch www.youtube.com (when the sound is gone) the videos repeat to start after 1 second playing.

I turned off the add-ons and it has worked fine since. Thanks for the help. (Meant to get back sooner on this.)
