Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking for some help with this please , recently installed an Esse 301 in our sitting room (14 x12) (3 months ago).Room freshly painted.
The stove gives out fantastic heat but the wall above it and the ceiling has become discoloured ,when we took away the picture above it ,you could clearly see the difference ,the remaining walls are also slightly discoloured ( the walls are painted white ) so it is very noticeable .
    Can anybody help ?????
    Thanks in advance.

Was the flue inspected or upgraded or a new liner installed before the stove was installed?
I would most certainly install a carbon monoxide alarm in the room before lighting again and have the chimney flue inspected. Also make sure there is a crow guard on the flue terminal.

I'm no expert but I'd be concerned that this could be carbon monoxide.

The discolouration is coming from somewhere & it sounds very much like a cracked flue liner. How was the flue inspected? Was it smoke tested? To have discolouration on the walls, something is dramatically wrong. At least install a CO alarm & get the installer back to investigate.
