Great, when I tried to go his site last night it wouldn't work (due to amount of traffic I presume!) and this morning they're all sold out :(

What a brilliant idea, and going on DD was the smartest thing he ever did!

    "It's all good"
    "Piece of kit"..

Two of the phrases I HATE the most... I'm out..

Agree with you here.sounds very scattered that you have to show your offer at the door and then doesnt really say how it is applied to the bill.

But its annoying that the dragons arent seeing things as a proper opportunity.

Its a fancy young scientist competition.

Kid: ''€1,500 profit after year one''.

Gavin: ''you're better of with the paper round''.

I like these young fella's. And it's a good idea!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 55,548 ✭✭✭✭Mr E

Yeah it's good, but seems watered down. It's like "Ah you're great - here's 2 grand."

  • Registered Users Posts: 697 ✭✭✭swiftman

its good giving the kids a chance, but the real thing, the dragons have to think about handing over 100k etc. here it 2k and dragons wouldnt blink at that if it was a good idea. not great so far

Eamonn Quinn of the Quinn dynasty, formerly of Superquinn, will replace Sean O'Sullivan on the sixth series of Dragon's Den.
Quinn will join the four existing Dragons, Ramona Nicholas, Barry O'Sullivan, Peter Casey and seasoned hand Gavin Duffy to put Ireland's top entrepreneurs and investors through their paces.
The ten part series will see a host of original and unique ideas pitched to the Dragons with everything from bull semen to flavoured butter.
Starts on RTÉ One on March 23 (Sunday) at 9.30pm.

I can't believe RTE are bringing this ****e back again this year, How many ideas on this show have ever taken off ? Most of the "dragons" on the first few sessions didn't even have any money.

He had to leave, cos he was afraid that Gavin Duffy was going to rob the recipe for his Everlasting Gob Stopper..

He got plenty of free publicity though. He can now advertise with the tag-line "As Seen On Dragons' Den" without having to give the Dragons a cent ;)
