dress cancelled still waiting in refund

i cancelled a dress from an online company http://www.iedresses.com/ weeks ago, still no refund, after reading up about this business im worried they wont givea refund they seem to be really messing people about, any advice?

How did you pay? If by Credit Card start the refund process; if by Paypal start the dispute. If you did it by bank transfer then learn not to ever give money away again that way and keep on hassling them on phone (e-mails can be ignored) and sending paper letters.

If you paid via Paypal, then it's 45 days to open a dispute.

If you paid via Visa Debit, you can also request a chargeback. AFAIK, you cannot get one via Laser, but stand to be corrected.

There was another thread on here about the same thing. Not sure if it's the same company though. I'll try to find it. From memory, think the OP threatened to go on TV to expose them. Company paid up.

Would it be an idea sending a solicitor's letter? Wouldn't cost much, and might be worth a shot.
