Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Non Union members and Croake Park deal?

The majority of my colleagues are represented by a union who walk away from the croake park negotiations. A minority are represented by unions who remained in the talks. I am not a union member.

Does it anyone know or have an opinion on whether a non-unionised individual can negotiate their own terms and conditions?

For example, if you have made demonstable savings and are earning new revenues under changes that you have initiated and implemented surely you can argue, like the firefighter precedent has shown, for the retention of current terms and conditions as it is performace related - like the fire fighters.

Can you legally challange changes in your term and conditions? Can you do so as no one has sought direct negotiations with you and no one has sought to asertain if you delivered on performance related issues under the current Croake Park deal?

You have to understand that the government isn't interested in your performance. This is a political deal, what happens depends on whether your are one of the proletariat (the workers!) or the rich. It has nothing to do with performance or whether you work or not.
