    hey,

right i am starting out as a sole trader , just a gardening business but am just wondering about income tax. i have registered with the revenue but its more than likely most of the work i get will be paid in cash so what happens here exactly. is it just up to me to declare all the cash earned or do the revenue expect to see invoices etc?
i do want everything above board but is it just a case of them trusting that you will declare everything. i mean how are they to know what i earn if its all in cash.

    anyway thanks.

    Hi

I think you should know the answer to this without posting on an online forum to find out.
