    Hi,
I have a Mulberry solid fuel stove which is plumbed to heat the water as well. There are 10 radiators in the house, there is also oil fired central heating. The stove barely heats the radiators no matter what fuel is used. The stove itself does not get hot and can always be touched with bare hands, the chimney part is very hot and untouchable.
Is this normal, is it too small to heat the radiators? Is all the heat going to try and heat the water?

    Thanks

    Ed

I've noticed this with mulberry before. It does sound strange that you can sit on the stove when there's a roaring fire but its true!
Is the back baffle in its correct position? Also check the top pipe of your oil boiler when only the solid fuel is going. Is it getting warm??
