Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    3500 is a great attendance.

Was in Croker today (ewww) 15000 at it.

Seemingly Dublin are deadly but still only get 15000 into the cold games, 80k i hear in the summer.

There's a stream on vipbox for it if someone wants to tell the expats on foot who are looking for one. I'm not registered there.

Galbraith on the wing and O'Leary in the middle of the park look very impressive for Limerick. Denis Behan on now, a Limerick man to score the winner against Limerick?

Galbraith looks a cracking player. This limerick team will do very well this season.

Enjoyable match in Thomond, pity there were no goals. Limerick will do well this year on that performance.

Only got to see last 30 minutes but was decent enough. Limerick have pacey players that will cause problems for other teams.

It's only 1 game but Limerick will offer to something to league this season.

Not bad crowd although looks worse on TV.

Sounded good though despite the wind

Some great play by Limerick today especially defence and centre of midfield. They don't look like a team just promoted.

Good start to the season for Limerick. Some really promising players in the team and could cause some problems for the bigger clubs. Very interesting to see how they progress throughout!

Limerick looked good. Both teams very shaky at the beginning mind. Limerick's build up play was superb and lovely to watch. Just lacked that bit of quality in the final third. Same can be said for both teams really.

    Enjoyable enough game.

If they can stay up and build then it will be all they could ask for first season back.

Also if they make a decent start to the season I can see the Limerick public getting behind the team.

    The mind boggles.

It took an age to get in, I was at Semple stadium earlier and for twice the crowd we got in ten times as quick.

Sure did. Returned to Cork in December. It's gas you had Cork fellas playing for Limerick today and vice versa.

How deep is the Limerick squad..

For a match without any goals, it was pretty entertaining. The first 20 minutes or so were dull but both sides kicked it up a notch. good game.

Decent game, we should have scored in the first half, Limerick improved in the second. First games of the season can be weird and peculiar, so glad to get something on the board away from home.
