Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
More and more people are using mobiles and tablets instead of laptops/pcs.
Just wondering is this a big consideration for your photography webstie?
I know some give people the option to view mobile or desktop version but desktop versions don't layout well on mobiles sometimes and if you view mobile version you're getting a differnet view/expierence.

Would you consider changing to a responsiveness site so enable it to be best viewed on whatever platform people are viewing your site on?
    Cheers,
    Pa.

p.s. I know this could be created in internet forum but it's aimed at photo websites/blogs so i posted it here.

Take a look at your analytics, mobile Vs bounce rate, see if it's worth spending time on a responsive version of your site.

My own website I use wordpress and I also use wordpress on one website that I admin, and use weebly on two other websites that I admin also. Both wordpress and weebly are mobile responsive and the mobile versions look ok. One of the things that I found that won't work on mobile, is the social media buttons that either sit or float on the sidebar. On mobile they cover the content in the middle of the screen. Social media buttons work best on the bottom of the post/pages.

If you're using Wordpress, check for theme updates. There may be a responsive version.

Most of the Themes on wordpress are mobile responsive, some look better than others. I was using twenty ten on one of the sites, but when I updated to wordpress 3.5 it broke the site. I had to change theme to twenty twelve and its working fine and I think looks cleaner on mobile.
