Can't find the thread that was put up on this, at least I thought there was one

Anyone have information on the cells that are meant to be in Dun Laoighaire pier? I had heard/read that they were meant to be opening them up for the public to see.

There's also heritage reports and the masterplan for the harbour here http://dlharbour.ie/masterplan/masterplan/

Yea, I have an old book on DL harbour and Pier, i'll try scan on the pages.

IIRC, it was more of a temporary holding facility on the east pier itself rather than an actual prison. There was 4/6 cells in total. The bars of the cells are still but look out of place, as they no longer form an actual cell.

I must ring them tomorrow as I swore I heard they were opening them up
