    Noticed on saturday that the 2 brass plaques on side of it (monument is up besides bishops palace) are missing. Anyone know if they were removed for any other reason than stolen. Absolutely disgusting if they were stolen, must be worth about €2 scrap but im sure cost a few hundred to make with the text and that.

    I hope im wrong, and they are back soon. The stories of the Waterford City Volunteers in the International Brigade is well interesting. Look it up.

    They were removed as they are being remounted.
