    Hey Guys,

So I am currently applying for my second IEC Visa. However the company I work for can apply for an LMO for me I recently found out. Would this be the best course of action for a PR? If so once I get the LMO can I apply for PR?

    Thanks for any help

Go with the LMO, because then you've got the option of getting 2 additional years with the IEC later on - guaranteeing you at least 3 more years in Canada

OP, what do you work as? If youve one years experience in a requierd field, you can apply for permanent residency under the CEC program - no company involvement required

@COYVB - What do you mean I have the option of two additional years exactly?

@retalivity - I work in IT as a product specialist type role I guess you would call it.

I am guessing means do 1 year on a TWP and still have the chance to apply for the IEC next year giving you 3 years with having to apply for PR
Do you know your NOC code?

if your company does an LMO for you, that`ll be for a year or maybe two, depending on how long they apply for. once that LMO expires, you`re free to apply for an additional 2 years on the IEC
