Hi, does anybody know of any taxi drivers have problems with bringing cats (in carriers) in their taxi? Is it ok? I want to bring my two cats to the vet in one tomorrow.

If you ring a company and let them know you'll have a cat in a carrier, they will send someone out who is ok with it. I did it a few times before I drove.

Never had a problem bringing cats or birds in a taxi once they are secure in their carriers - suppose it would be good manners to ask before hand just in case the driver is allergic though

Agree with above, as long as you ask in advance and explain cat will be in a secure carrier box you should be ok.
    It's a pain being a non-driver esp with pets I find!
