    Snowing in Dundalk

Good to see Dundalk is getting some snow and this can be clearly seen by checking out the latest radars.

Also, it would appear that the rain over Munster and south Leinster is now starting to move south, allowing the arctic air to plunge south across Ireland.

Radar not looking great for Dublin at the moment with just tiny amounts showing up. However I don't think Dublin was due to get much this evening and I understand the capital could be in line for some action after midnight and all day tomorrow ?

Light snow coming down here in Drogheda - it's not even dark, no cloud cover or anything - there's a bit of sunshine too - and the snow. :)

So much rain in north Cork , but now snow flakes are falling at the moment.
Nothing sticking as it is too wet, but the roads will be like glass in morning if it freezes hard :(

Should the sea not be pepping up a bit right about now ?

Dewpoint has plummeted here, -1.7C now and still falling. Temperature holding steady at around 4.0C though. No precipitation as of yet, the murky greyness is just starting to lift now and some patches of blue are beginning to appear though. Let the convective showers begin!

Bit early wait for the frontal precipitation to clear fully and then convection should get started

On kildare Wicklow border, looking out the kitchen window, sky has cleared looks like a nice dusting on lugnaquilla. Wind very strong, no precipitation all day.

I sent herself out to tie down the trampoline, she reports thats it's very cold.
