    Im currently in Leaving Cert and Im interested in the science course in UL particularly Science Choice, Industrial Biochemistry, Environmental science etc, If I could find out any info on these courses in general that would be great! (hours a week/course content etc), also I am doing ordinary level maths, is the maths within these courses do-able ??? any info would be great, thanks :D

    Depend on what you want to concentrate on science choice, industrial biochemistry and food science are very similar for the first year just foundation science subjects and maths handy enough if you like science. Have a look at career options for each course and see. I'm 3rd in Food Science currently on coop. Hours are approx 23 per week depending on lab slots for all courses you can add another 10 hrs extra for tutorials and lab reports. So plenty of time to socialise!
