Surprised to see JB Holmes out at 80-1... granted he has had a mixed course record at Sawgrass but given his form this season, I'll be taking an ew on that (top 6).

    Reed @ 80/1, Fowler @ 66/1, @ Hoffman @150/1 All E.W Top 6

    Win only Rose & Stenson

    Furyk, Walker and Zach J

    Hend and Meesawat

    All ew

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,989 ✭✭✭Potential Underachiever

I've added Furyk too, fatigue might be a factor with him but he's playing too well to leave out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 325 ✭✭MUFC91CS

Great showing last year too. Although his course form outside of that is hairy at best.

    Spieth 8/1 win
    Stenson 20/1 ew (top 7)
    Westwood 40/1 ew (top 6)
Holmes 66/1 ew (top 7).....The 80/1 for 6 places was gone by the time I tried to make the bet so rather than go with 5 places.... I went with 66/1 for top 7.

Done Zach Johnson e/w at 50s has a good record here and you don't need to be the biggest hitter to win, straight and accurate does the job also factored into my decision to back Poulter aswell e/w at 70s top 6 with PP so hoping for a good run for my money

Poulter has a bit of extra motivation as well after being voted the joint most overrated player on tour haha

    Outright and FRL

    Horchel @70/1
    Snedeker @125/1
Every @200 outright and 125/1 FRL

Gona see how round one pans out and may back Rose in running

Casey has withdrawn from the looks of things. Does this mean bets are void?

Not 100% but I think as soon as they tee off then the bet will not be voided, I had Villegas pull out a couple of weeks ago and no refund.

If he participated then he is marked as a loser.

If he withdrew prior to teeing off then it's void.

Was Billy Horschel 70/1 ? That's giving you value for money.

I thought Ishikawa represented some final round value at 66/1.

    It's anybody's trophy.

Thought I've have a bet seeing as Zach Johnson decided to shìt himself when just about in contention. Seems the norm with so many players now.

Still have Horchell in contention @70s hopefully he can give me a sweat

Just have a bet on Justin Thomas @16s to give me another horse to follow

Absolutely buzzing! It cant get any better, won money, Rickie is my favourite player, what an unbelievable finish to a tournament, overrated my bollox!

The one time I leave Fowler out of my staking plan. Gutted isnt the word. Fair play for keeping the faith....

I went for both of the Johnsons. :(

Nothing scientific about why I backed him, I hadn't backed him much this year as he hadn't being playing well, couple of weeks ago he tweeted that he was hitting it great but needed to stick his putter in the oven to heat it up! So on that flimsy reason I decided I'd back him the next few weeks because I'd generally consider him an excellent putter, it worked out pretty well! Thanks twitter!

My brother had a tenner each way on Kisner. He made a nice bit on the E/W, but he was sickened that he didn't win (250/1 before the tournament, apparently) :)

    Congrats, some price as well.

I was really rooting for him last night. The absolute state of that "poll". Pure jealously given how much he makes from sponsorship might be the real reason behind its "findings".
