Perhaps a good bet would be Kaufman for top Debutante @16/1?

I'm going for Spieth at 9/1 with 8 places. That combination is pretty outrageous. Spieth 9/1 to win and 9/4 to place in the top 8 :eek: Other selections:

Fowler 14/1 e/w 8 places
Snedeker 55/1 e/w 8 places

Justin Thomas is another debutant to consider.
Kaufman and Thomas are imo fair players and long.
Thomas is trading at 200 and Kaufman at 480.
Perhaps the smart money is on Thomas.

I wouldn't have done that if I were you, the w/o Day/Spieth/McIlroy market is only paying for the first 5 places while the outright market (with SkyBet at least) is paying for the first 8.

But you're eliminating 3 big favourites. If he finishes 2nd behind any of the 3 then the bet wins. If the 4 of them finish in the top 8 then he places. I think it's a safe enough bet as I think he'll be there or there abouts on Sunday.

I guess you've a point, I'm just so used to my picks only placing rather than winning, bar two who landed me nearly €260 between them a couple of months back.
