Went with harrington in play at 25/1. Maybe he can play the 'least worst' tomorrow evening

Going to stick with the US, my boy Bryson isn't playing this week but I've gone with

Barnes 70/1 In good form the last few weeks, yet to win on the PGA Tour but I think he'll deliver sooner or later
Billy Horschel 20/1 Very steady all year, consistent top 20s and a past winner here
Chris Kirk 35/1 Solid form and just like him as a golfer

Feel a bit of mental let down after last week's close shave and then visiting Punchestown (hence the late post) - could have been paid for with my winnings!

    This week gone for:

Volvo China Open - Alexander Levy (not sure how he will respond after last week) and Alex Noren

Zurich Classic Of New Orleans - Marc Leishman & Cameron Tringale

    Each way doubles as always

Only just noticed the form of Patrick Reed there when I saw an article on the PGA Tour website. 8 top 10s in his last 13 starts. Surely the man has to get a couple of wins soon. Will start going for him from next week on

Justin Thomas and Finau, outright and FRL this week

Rory looks like a stonking bet to retain his title at Quail Hollow this weekend. Won by 7 shots last year (at 3/1), demolishing the course in the process. Also won in 2010 and ALWAYS plays well there. 9/2 in PP at the moment with 7 places (1/5 odds). Best e/w bet I have seen for a long time!

Rory playing well but making some annoying mistakes: +3 on the 18th for his two rounds so far but -2 overall. Six shots behind (T24th at the moment) but still in with a good chance if he can put it all together. Best price 8/1 now (4 places).

Unless he sorts out his irons from 125-150 and 150-175 yards he is not worth the risk. Putting inside 10 feet etc.
    Pga stats worth a look

    Went this week with :

    Trophee Hassan II - Gregory Havret - 33/1 & Paul Dunne - 28/1

    Wells Fargo Championship - Webb Simpson - 80/1 & Gary Woodland - 66/1

    Each way doubles as usual

    Late posting due to travelling

Well, Rory put it all together on Sunday but it was too late! Beaten by 2 shots after a scintillating 66 (-6), including a bogey on the last, as usual. Lost the tournament with a very disappointing 73 on Saturday when I really expected him to shoot something in the 60s. Finished tied-4th so e/w part of bet came in and we got 95% of our money back. Still, a case of "what might have been".

Hahn threw form book out the window that's for sure.

    8 straight missed cuts.

I actually been keeping eye on Casto for while and he been tempting last few weeks.

Happy he lost cause he been big price

Paddys bigging up that they're paying 7 places on TPC this week.
Great I thought, then I realise they're only going 1/5th the odds.

Not so great when you compare to the masters where theres only 50 or so contenders yet the same amount of places.(PP not the only culprits here its across the board)

1/5 of the odds is terrible

It's been a 1/5 of the odds now for awhile now, stopped doing my golf bets with PP.

Might be tempted in the final round by T2 KenDuke @36 e/w 2pl
The 74-67-65 looks optimistic & consistent (so far...)
Only as a 'wildcard feature' on 'low stake high yield' (three from fourfold mixed sports e/w accum).

Rory out at 100/1 now, on 'Hills. Would be alright, but only 2pl are available.
