Any thoughts on cashing out on Henrik Stenson? Have him backed at 30/1 and I'm currently being offered about 60% of my potential return. One shot lead and poor conditions out there today plus Stenson's unfamiliarity with leading a Major going into the final round have me concerned.

If cashing out I'd wait till after the first 8 holes as he will surely trade lower at some stage

Have you got an exchange account?

    Stenson 1.81 to lay

    Mickleson 2.58 to back

Hard to see it not being between them 2.

Either lay Stenson or back Phil - if you want to get out

I have both - Mickelson wins me double what Stenson does, so i will try to lay out a little on Phil, but not to any great extent

    Enjoy the ride

Got €13 (max bet) on Phil at 3/1 after Boylesports enhanced him. Gonna get more on at 6/4 with Paddy to cover my bet. Cheers guys

Any thoughts on the Canadian open outside of the big hitters. What are opinions on Bryson DeChambeau as a value 66 to 1 bet ?

Any last-minute tips on the USPGA? I'm thinking of following Jeremy Chapman's recommendations, because the other option is Palmer. :pac:

A couple of short price bets i fancy -

Sergio top Spanish @ 2/5 (v Cabrera Bello) Vijay top Senior (v John Daly and Rocco Mediate) @ 4/9, J Furyk to make the cut @ 2/5.. Treble :)

    American winner @ Evs

It's behind a paywall on Racing Post's site, I just read a copy of that paper in a bookie's.

    His tips are:
    Rory Mac (3pt e/w)
    Mickelson (2pt e/w)
    JB Holmes (1pt e/w)
    Stricker (1pt e/w)
    Baddeley (0.5pt e/w)

On Garcia and Grace outright, Zach Johnson top American and Matt Jones top Aussie
Another 30 quid or so down the drain no doubt

Will be mainly looking a the Leader per round markets. Though 100/1 Stricker may go on the mixed e/w accumulator.

'R1 Leader' market still has 7places on Powers, perhaps one of random the 200/1 wildcards will get a good start, e.g. B.Hurley or R.Moore
Needless to say places for R2/3/4 leader/winner will be reduced but e/w value can still be obtained during live markets, with one eye on each morning's leaderboards. The cream will most likely float to the top in the later rounds.

Harrington & Bourdy to win their 3 balls today 4/1

  • Registered Users Posts: 146 ✭✭ozzy78

Great round by Harrington today. I backed Grillo yesterday at 30/1. Hoping he can do it but Day is looking ominous. Anyone see any other value bets out there?

  • Registered Users Posts: 146 ✭✭ozzy78

Harrington currently 125/1 with PP. Seem very generous for a small ew bet.

    Can see 200/1 1/4 3pl WH.

But at -4 going into final round, it depends how far the leaders get ahead, currently three at -8, three at -7 and these not yet past half-way point of R3.

McGirt 20/1 outright win a possibility. Got 100/1 late last night, Simpson was also 100/1 (WHill). Both featuring on the e/w mixed accumulator.

    Grace outright

    A sliver of a chance?

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,563 ✭✭✭✭Loafing Oaf

    A sliver of a chance?

    That would be a no:(

Is there a higher than usual proportion of bellowing idiots in the crowd?

    A sliver of a chance?

Always good to post a score to lead in the club house in the hope the weather turns against those out on the course

I would expect him to finish top 10 now, maybe top 6 at a stretch

One to note moving forward though

Can see him landing a win before the year is out

    All quiet here

Gone for a speculative double this week:

Golf (M) - Rio 2016 - Matt Kuchar Gold Medal Winner 16/1 & Gregory Bourdy Gold Medal Winner 66/1

John Deere Classic 2016 - Robert Streb Winner 33/1 & Daniel Summerhays Winner 20/1

    Enjoy

Fowler @15 with 6pl with powers (1/5) seems a good option for the Gold/place in Brazil
    - whilst others such as Lads are offering the same price but for 3pl (all be it at 1/3).

It's generally just 4pl (1/4) everywhere else. Relatively small field of around 60 contenders.
Lingmerth may be place value @55 (6pl) powers also.

    Quiet again this week

    Gone for:

    D+D Real Czech Masters 2016

Lee Slattery Winner 50/1 & Eddie Pepperell Winner 40/1

    Wyndham Championship 2016

Bill Haas Winner 22/1 & Webb Simpson Winner 25/1

    Good luck all

    Quiet again this week

    Gone for:

    Made in Denmark 2016 - Soren Kjeldsen 14/1 & Bradley Dredge 28/1

    The Barclays 2016 - Brandt Snedeker 40/1 & Luke Donald 80/1

    Good luck everyone

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,200 ✭✭✭jjll

    European masters noren and duchambeu

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,586 ✭✭✭4068ac1elhodqr

Reckon Knox will be out to prove a point this week, generally @81, but only 5pl.
Berger & Hoffman also value around 70-80. A.Scott much safer but only @23 in the Deutsche Bank.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,559 ✭✭✭abarkie

Looks a bit more lively here this week

    I have gone for:

    Omega European Masters 2016 - Marcus Fraser 60/1 & Richie Ramsay 33/1

    Deutsche Bank Championship 2016 - Gary Woodland 70/1 & Matt Kuchar 40/1

    Good luck everyone

Have not posted here since about March and thank God cause my bets have been very poor.

Definitely making a loss this year which is a pity cause got off to good start with my bets here. The last straw was Berger a while back blowing a nice lead not even to be placed.

Maybe I'll have better luck if I start posting my bets here again ha

    Stenson 18/1 win

    Ew
    Fowler 25/1
    Brooks 45/1
    Charley Hoffman 70/1

    Frl Hoffman 50/1 Ew

    Gl all
