ET Joburg: With 210 stick ball hitters, may giving it a slightly wide berth. Still with a positive balance on WH, picked off a random pair of BP from their early offerings 6pl (1/5). You can get better with Fred/Sky (doing 1/4), or PP/Coral for the 7th EP.

    Bezuidenhout @ 51.00
    Strydom (JP) @500

PGA Honda: Last years T3 an obvious selection in Fla:
    Thomas @19.00 (1/5) 1-6, again shop around (sky) or go 7pl (PP/Coral).

A value cross-check on WH also shows BP's for
    Woodland @41
    Pieters @41

As always, featuring as very low-stake/high-yield selections, on multi-line mixed event e/w accumulator arrays.

This week I have gone for:

World Super 6 Perth 2017 - Rumford, Brett & Thorbjorn Olesen

Genesis Open 2017 - Adam Scott & Jason Day

    E/w doubles as ever

Have to say the event at Perth / European tour is a strange one

    Good luck all

If only i had followed redzerdrog on Johnson :(

Moving on after hitting the cross bar last week, this week I have gone for:

Joburg Open - Anthony Wall & Jaco Van Zyl

The Honda Classic - Rickie Fowler & Justin Thomas

    E/w Doubles as ever

    Good luck everyone

Always best to get bets/tips on, before the rounds actually get underway for extra places and value.

Joburg is suspended with rain, but pleased to see 500/1 wildcard Strydom heading towards the top 1/3rd of the filed.

Fowler doing ok in the PGA (-3 on 11th), Wesley Bryan seems to be continuing his trend as J1 R1 leader, with rather a few closing in.

Ghostery is the best ad blocking plugin to run, have it on Opera (best browser for multiple low-bandwidth e-mail accounts) and Firefox. Always on the legacy site, the new one is dirt.

The Golf is excellent for place values, even into R3/4 if someone is -5 on their 4th, I'm on it like a car bonnet at double digits.

Started the day with hopes for a couple of places a bad back 9 from fisher jr and a horrendous front 9 from Grillo has put and end to that.

Do you not back singles at all? That's two good winners in the last two weeks

No, i used to but it was double the stake, and went through a very lean period

I found that the please double more than paid for stakes for a few weeks - its just the week like this one, leave you thinking what if

Backed horschel @80/1in the Honda ew paying 5 places. Cashed out for a small profit when he was in trouble on one of the holes. He came joint fourth with 5 other players. Can somebody tell me the bad news on what odds I would have on the ew part as I remember it is divided by the amount of players or something. Thank you

Depends on your bookie and the amount of pile up at the top. If it was live may only have been 1/5th pl too. Not too long ago Sky was doing a mammoth 8-places on one of the majors. But it was so packed with winners they only paid out up to the joint T6 group. C/O's aren't ever much value on singles.

According to my calcs you would have got €105 for a 5er e/w

Get in early before the RP...the amount of times the feckers in the RP do the same bets as me is a joke.
Get bets on early doors before the odds tumble.
Tough one to pick in the u.s this week with little known about course...also very high altitude will be an issue.
It looks like a tight tree lined course...might suit an old stager like Furyk @125/1
Anyway Burmester and Fritelli are my picks in the SA/Euro event

That's what I would have got if he finished fourth on his own. It was with pp paying 5 places so with six joint fourth are you not paying six golfers for fourth and fifth place so divide the odds by three, would it not be 35 euro?

Sorry about that...I think you would only get 25...5 euro divided by 4 @ full odds

Did a few bets here this week....some nice prices around.
    Furyk @100/1
    Fitzpatrick @100/1
    Knox @80/1
    Perez @80/1

    Top ten finish...Kjeldson @16/1

In the Tswane open get on Dylan Fritelli @33/1 before the racing post get their sliney greasers into him tomorrow morning.

Small stakes, but high volume of multiple arrays in stick ball this week. This to merge with the forthcoming Chelt NRNB EP's as possible place multipliers in L15/31 E/W arrays. All the below are well priced and all at 6places. Slightly higher frequency on Noren and the last two:

    Mexico: Noren @81
    Mexico: Fitz @81
    Mexico: W'berger @101
    Mexico: F'wood @126
    Mexico: Kevin Na @126

    Tshwane: Ashun Wu @101
    Tshwane: J Walters @101
    Tshwane: E Molinari @ 151
    Tshwane: Bertasio @ 126

Strange week this week and haven't seem much I want to get stuck into..that may change in running though.

I have a feeling one of Dustin, Rory or spieth could win this but don't know which one.

Two small each ways for now are Fleetwood and Noren

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,559 ✭✭✭abarkie

Hit the crosssbar on the doubles for the past 2 weeks, but back again

This week I have gone for:

Tshwane Open 2017 Jaco Van Zyl 25/1 & Burmester, Dean 14/1

WGC Mexico Championship - Adam Scott 25/1 & Justin Rose 22/1

Echo other comments can see a runaway winner in Mexico

Also looked at Garcia in Mexico and Fritthell in Tshwane event

    Good luck all

What price you get walker in running?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,750 ✭✭✭redzerdrog

Dustin Johnson must have lipped out about 5 or 6 time and still on 1 under

I am taking the 9/1 available about him at the minute (win only)
