Went to back Hoffman too, but see he's as low as 40's in places
125/1 is a massive price for him

As low as 33 with coral, best I can find is 45s.

For outsiders I've gone for xander @100
    And Jim furyk @200

Small bets on Branden Grace and Justin Thomas outright and Tony Finau top American.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,750 ✭✭✭redzerdrog

Fairly strong e/w bet on Daniel berger @66/1 8 places
Smaller bet on Brendan Grace at 66/1

Rory probably wins this in a canter but is far too short for my liking

Unable to get 10pl via Coral (they don't like me), but noticed certain others are still offering 8pl still now in early R1 (live).

Much prefer live, as you can start to dismiss some of the field and sometimes beat the Traders with any quick climbers.

Commentator just made a comment saying Rory was odds on favourite going into the weekend, sure that can't be right. Anyone have any idea what price he was before the start of play?

Edit: Just seen it above, sorry.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,586 ✭✭✭4068ac1elhodqr

He was short maybe @8 or so, right now 22:00hrs GMT he could challenge for LR1, -2 on 10th @10.

i thought i seen Rory at 11/2 before play.

Just before tee off, he was anywhere from 5/1 - 13/2

Did Hoffmann Rose Fowler Poulter and Kisner all e/w on Wednesday top 7 and tied. Kisner at 100/1 want to see him finish in a solo top 7 spot.
Rose only one to miss the cut so a nice sweat for the weekend.

One of my bets a serious contender at the business end of a golf major.

    [IMG]http://library.hrmtc.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/irwin-wonders-will-never-cease.png

Back to normal this week, but again a new course to contend with

    Gone with:

Made in Denmark - Tom Lewis 50/1 & Bradley Dredge 22/1

    The Northern Trust 2017 - Francesco Molinari 55/1 & Matt Kuchar 35/1

    Each Way Doubles as ever

    Good luck all

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,704 ✭✭✭zimmermania

Backed Dredge at 25s PP and at 6/5 to beat Oleson in a match bet Lads,Oleson playing well recently but missed the last 2 cuts in this and Dredge was runner up twice in the last 3 years.

Looking at Mclroy and he looks a massive price at 18/1, if it weren't for his recent fitness queries, he should be half his price for me

    Usual E/w Doubles:

    D+D Real Czech Masters

    Matthew Fitzpatrick 14/1 & David Lipsky 30/1

    Dell Technologies Championship

    Patrick Reed 30/1 & Rory McIlroy 14/1

    Good luck all

    Got that one wrong!

For the first time ever I've backed Westwood e/w @33/1....also a small bet on Donald e/w @80/1

  • Registered Users Posts: 616 ✭✭✭iluvfatfrogs

I'm on Detry to win @60's, I feel a win is def coming from him, but can't figure out when

Was on Aphibarnrat @50/1 at the weekend.... if it wasn't bad enough coming out of Croker after losing, but to see what he had managed to do over the last few holes and not even get placed.... not a good day

  • Registered Users Posts: 616 ✭✭✭iluvfatfrogs

    Storm (70's) & Tringale (80's)
    2 x 10pt ew singles
    5pt ew double

  • Registered Users Posts: 616 ✭✭✭iluvfatfrogs

    Storm (70's) & Tringale (80's)
    2 x 10pt ew singles
    5pt ew double

Both placed, but as Tringale bogeyed 17 and T5th instead of outright 5th my return fell from 1595points to 1107 points

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,621 ✭✭✭DJIMI TRARORE

E10 ew on Fitzpatrick @22s 7 places PP

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,704 ✭✭✭zimmermania

    C Wood 30/1,R Sterne 40/1,K Aphibarnrat 60/1 M Lagergren 70/1.7 places PP.

A fiver ew on all 4 and am not confident enough about any of the 4 to have anymore on and am hoping to still be there with some sort of chance on sunday.

Had a couple of weeks in Orlando (with a rather nice breeze coming through) and had terrible problems logging in - kept getting "Captcha" issues

So a bet to post later

    This week gone for:

Alfred Dunhill Links Championship - Thorbjorn Olesen 28/1 & Chris Wood 30/1

Safeway Open- Emiliano Grillo 33/1 & Bud Cauley 33/1

    E/w doubles as always

    Good luck all

  • Registered Users Posts: 616 ✭✭✭iluvfatfrogs

    Oelsen (28's) & Lovemark (33's)
    2 x 10pt ew singles
    5pt ew double

PP are offering 10/3 on an Irish winner (Rory, Lowry, Harraington, Dunne, GMac) which is great coverage if you feel Rory is a justified 11/2 fav

I used to have a betting log on here for my golf bets a few years ago that was quite successful before my interest waned. I am not sure I still have the same level of interest or time to complete the neccesary study time require to run a log. However I missed the certain level of tracking and some disipline it provided. So I am going to try use this thread but also keep a P&L throughout the year.

    Italian open
    Levy 1pt E/W @50/1

    CIMB
    Grillo 2pt win @45/1

    0.5pt e/w double

    Total outlay: 5pts

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,559 ✭✭✭abarkie

Looks like another new course being used,so course form not available

    Gone for :

    CIMB Classic 2017 - Gary Woodland 28/1 & Rafael Cabrera Bello 35/1

    Italian Open 2017 - Tommy Fleetwood 20/1 & Bernd Wiesberger 33/1

    Each Way doubles as always

    Good luck all

    Fleetwood (20’s) & Na (35’s)
    2 x 10pt ew singles
    5pt ew double
Really fancy Fleetwood this weekend, may even back him again if he drifts a
    Bit
    Will
Also also follow Matsuyama, think he could go very close but 8’s is a very poor opening price, will
Back if I get 16/18/20 in runnjng
