Oi Ricky Fowler leave it out, -10 and only the 13th, and the Hoff has yet still to find his feet.

    Hard luck!

Absolutely crazy bet but some sweat all the same!

Not to worry, sure another 10,000/1 type of low-stake, high yield fourfold, in a week or so.

    Slight place value still from 36(1/5) x1.57(1/3) x10(1/4) x17(1/4).

Was hoping to cash and close the (newly designed) SkyBet website as it's fairly pants to operate.
The do allow novelty accums and occasional extra places, but that's the only plus point with it.

Unfortunately a lot of the early value is gone but haven't had the chance to look through it till now.

    Joburg Open
    Dean Burmester 1.5pt win @20/1
    Darren Fichardt 1.5pt win @22/1
    Jean Hugo 1pt e/w @100/1
    Jacques Blaauw 1pt e/w @110/1

    Outlay: 7pts

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,586 ✭✭✭4068ac1elhodqr

Primary focus is one @ low 40's with 6/7 places, and secondary few @126,150,251 in e/w mixed accumulators arrays for December.

Might avoid posting up selections this time (except maybe for the good aul after-timing page).
This after jinxing last weeks near 10,000/1 as soon as uploaded the pending bet - Hoffman threw away the 5pt lead, the cnut.

It's a massive field (over 240c), East & West courses for R1/2, so not overly keen from the getgo.
Only plus point is time zone, circa +2GMT. May well be best just to leave for (live early R3) with reduced places, and thus cherry-picking any fast value climbers.

    Good luck anyway.

Went for a young American who has been making a bit of a name for himself on the Asian tour having earned his full playing rights with some good results in the minor tours in Asia in 2016.

A big hitter, Johannes Veerman can make his mark in the new season and I cursed him with my tenner ew at 66/1 PP,however he plays this week he cant do any worse than some of the horses I backed this week.

    Update for last few weeks

    balance: -21pts
    Previous balance: + 78pts

    Running total:+62pts

Not much interest in this and although Justin Rose is definitely a worthy favourite 3/1 in such an event is not for me.

Only the one bet so far

    Prom Meesawat 1pt e/w @70/1

Fantastic performance from Justin Rose maybe that 3/1 was good value after all!!!

    Outlay: 2pts
    Returns: 0pts
    balance: -2pts
    Previous balance: + 62pts

    Running total:+60pts

Very happy to be running at 60 pts profit so far considering I only started back for the end of season events which historically I don't have a great record in. Looking forward to 2018.

Gona do a lucky 15 and e/w accum on all 4 majors over the coming week or so for the craic. Not gona include it in the running balance until after the last major but the outlay I have in my head is about 5 pts

    Dustin Johnson 2pt win @8/1
    Cameron Smith 1pt win @40/1

28/1 , fingers crossed for a good final round , few still in the hunt if Johnson has a poor round

Have a few near the top backed, but from (loose memory)
Rahm & Harman have a slight tendency to choke under pressure,
so couple of lucky R4 e/w's acca selections on Fowler/Dufner @12-34.

Ideal start to the SA (midway through 1R), Grace (don't think have backed) is set up to lead (-5 on 10th, 1300hrs GMT), it's ideal as everyone is else has their prices bumped!
e.g. Sterne@15 (-4 on 9th). Looking also at Silva @126 and few other value picks still 5pl. Even the current R1L is @23 (Koepka) so decent value all-round if ignoring Grace.

Sony: have Kisner, Kim and Simpson in the mash of low-stake high-yield mixed line e/w acca arrays.
Considering Berger&Henley for R1L is they start well on first few holes.

The markets have him red@3.5, whereas Kizz@5 has gone blue (short) and looks favourable. It's packed at the top of the board, x13 all at -10 or better.

Still holding a candle in wind for Simpson, other possible value wildcards include Knox and Saunders, up @150 and still 3pl.

Reckon that alert on early R3 must have frayed a few nerves, imagine being out on the green and hearing those 12minuites to impact sirens. Patterson mentioned it and turned his R2:64 into R3:74. Power is over there any also commented to media on what was a temporary pending armageddon.

    Career builder
    Brendan Steele 1pt win @33/1
    Chris Kirk 1pt e/w @60/1

    Abu Dhabi
    Dean Burmester 1pt e/w @110/1
    Jamie Donaldson 1pt e/w @200/1

    0.25pts e/w cross doubles

    1pt win double Johnson/Rahm @65/1

    Outlay:10pts

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,750 ✭✭✭redzerdrog

I think there could be some value in the First Rounder Leader market in Abu Dhabi. Looking the weather the morning wave might have a bit of an advantage over the afternoon son gona have a couple of bets on some early starters.

    FRL
    Dustin Johnson 1pt win @12/1
    Nicolas Colsaerts 0.5pts e/w @125/1
    Lucas Bjerregaard 0.5pts e/w @150/1

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,704 ✭✭✭zimmermania

A less risky approach this week as i find it difficult to select any value ew bets so Wiesberger 17/10 Abu Dhabi top 20 and Hadwin 11/4 CareerBuilder top 20.
