From what I hav observed over the last few weeks, once a price is gone it's gone, bookies don't tend to put prices back up, would you agree with that? I think only on BF will you see players drift, I might be full of it mind you.

Nah there's always drifters I think, but by late tomorrow or Wednesday I find it's fairly tight.A lot of the more obvious outliers will be gone anyway.I tend to leave the smaller prices alone on a day like today because a couple of them will more than likely drift now over the next few days but it'll be by a much smaller margin than the larger price movements today.I actually find it harder to back shorter winners because of this, half the time I'll take a price on someone @29 or 34 and it'll drift the next day.Not very good at separating the top players from one another.
Had my eye on Molinari earlier @29 but thought he'll be one of those prices that drifts and left it,into 26 now.

Ok that's fair enough, obv I can't keep tabs on everybodies price to see if they drift, but players I'm looking at don't seem to drift! Good to know that you have noticed prices going up though.

So there's a hope that Hansen will go back out to 66/1 so I will hold on and see what happens there, I just noticed that you already got him at that price, well done!

I took Molinari at 28/1 myself and yep that immediately shortened, the bookies are running scared of my 10 E.W, that'll be my biggest bet of the week.

    So Far BMW :

    Molinari 28/1 E.W
    Ramsay 100/1 E.W
    Simon Khan 200/1 E.W

Wish I had of read this before i did my bet....

Stenson is not getting carried away, having managed just one top-10 result in 10 appearances at Wentworth to 2010, the last time he played the course.
"I just don't feel I play well on this course, and it's hard for me, but I'm going to try my best," he said.

I think both of us know that he normally doesn't putt anything in from 2 foot or more :P He really needs to win soon, he's very consistent every week, but unfortunately it's consistently top 10 and never enough.

Looks to be right though, he bogeyed it with a 3 putt. Might have been a severe downhill putt

Course looks like playing tough with only 16 players under par at mo

I think segio picked the injury up during 1st round last week and if it was any other tournament he would have pulled out but is paying for it now

Have bets finalised for this week will stick them in my log when get a chance but for now Ilonen at 70/s with Stan James is a big price imo

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 913 ✭✭✭tomaussie

Agree with Rezerdog in Europe. You have to back Ilonen at that price.

My picks in America are Sabbitini @ 100/1 and Mike Weir @ 200/1.

    EW singles and EW double.
