Definite advantage with morning and afternoon sessions today.. i hope its calm in morning and blows a gale in afternoon tomo

Not really, there is only 29 players in the field so it's only 2 hours 15 between first and last tee time, which means the first group out will still have at least 9 holes to play when the final group go out. A tiny field also means the greens will be perfect all week and won't get bumpy for the later groups like they normall do.

Very tightly packed after round 1, should be a great weekend.

Rickie off to a flyer, then misses a 5 foot putt of birdie on the 3rd for 3 in a row.

And he missed a few short ones yesterday too. Could make all the difference come Sunday.

If he gets in a good putting day on Saturday or Sunday then he could be comfortable.

David Lynn for the Wales Open

Dont understand the Racing Post saying Power is key attribute, when last year most of the top 5 were accuracy players?

I thought it was a putters course hence my selection.

I'm back Charl Schwartzel this week. I think he is overpriced at 25/1.

Rory is 4s victor 22s victor holds course record of 60 and playing it twice

Think there might be a low round in Richie Ramsay so I've had a small dabble at 20/1.

I had a useless third place finish at the frys.com.

This week I think Martin Laird is overpriced at 28/1 (33/1 available) given his course form and his recent form.

I thought he might be one of the market leaders.

Been away from betting for past month but will nibble in few this week.

    Simpson win only 16\1
    English ew 35\1
    Langley 70/1
    Swafford 80/1 both new.

    Gl all.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,216 ✭✭✭qwabercd

Not had much time for betting recently either. Gone for Howell, swafford and Campbell. Missed a bigger price on swafford. Would've gone for Langley too (backed him a few times last year) but his price is gone.

Dufner @90s this week.Gone for John Peterson as well @126,mainly because I think I backed him as the favourite a few weeks ago on a web.com event. He was something like 20s then. The playing field is much better than that event here but it's still nothing special.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,056 ✭✭✭applehunter

Martin Laird @ 25s is a decent price considering the field.
