Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    The commentator:

"Do you think AVB has worked out management?"

    Ignorant moron.

Impressed with the referee tonight...let the game flow and also not afraid to show a yellow card for players diving.

I was delighted that Spurs were playing Inter tonight seeing as Liverpool are playing them on Sunday. Turns out, it was a nice little training session for them!! :(

Well done Spurs anyway. A poor Inter side or not, they've still to be beaten and that's the second leg sorted already. Good night all round for them.

I cannot believe that team playing Spurs was Inter Milan.... absolutely dire. It could not even string a decent pass.

It's nothing new, anybody who watches them regularly will tell you how bad they've been since the Juve game. The defending has been poor all season and without a proper striker the attacking is poor too, plus the midfield has been quite poor, lucky to be in 4th and will be lucky to finish in the top 6 this season.

According to Henry Winters AVB talked about cleansing Bales yellow card. What do people think? Always happens in the Champions league

One of the poorest Inter teams i have seen in a long time ... have watched them a couple of times this season and knew that if Spurs were on there game then we would get 3 or 4 last night.

Best player for Inter was Zanetti i thought...

Cracking atmosphere at the game last night and a superb performance from the lads ... onwards and upwards

    what do you mean cleansing?

is it about AVB saying something like they're glad he got it or woul've asked him to get it?

I think winters was insinuating AVB was very happy to of gotten rid of the yellow card as in part of the plan.

    you mean this
ANDRE VILLAS-BOAS admitted he would have asked Gareth Bale to get a DELIBERATE yellow card if he had not been booked for diving.
Spurs star Bale is out of next Thursday’s Europa League last-16 return with Inter after he was booked for going down in the 15th minute.
And boss AVB said: “Gareth will obviously be a great miss.
“But had we known we’d get this result we would have asked him to get the yellow card to be clean and to be ready for the last eight. It’s not finished but we are in a good position.
“Gareth has been influential in consecutive games but hopefully we can make it without him and go through to the last eight.”

    http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4830843/AVB-Id-have-told-Bale-to-get-booked.html

of course he's happy, loads of players/teams do it in every competition. it's intelligent

    i don't see a problem with it
