Wireless streaming to Xbox

Has anyone got wireless media streaming set up on their 360 over a home network. I am having issues, the 360 and pc see each other alright nut whenever I select a file on the 360 to play it never actually ends up playing on my TV. What are you using to stream? Just sharing the files and accessing through SRUMBALL:PC (or whatever your PC is named) on the xbox dash?
