Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iphone 4 problems

My iphone recently start knocking off by itself, the screen will go blank and after a couple of mins the apple logo appears and the phone turns back on requesting the pass-code only.

Today it knocked off, and wouldn't turn back on for ages. When it did the time was wrong, it froze when I went to make a call, also my email was not accessible it was saying "can not identify"

I left the phone off over night the night before last, but still having these issues.

I look after the phone, it's up to date with the latest software, and hasn't been dropped or had any water damage.

Does any one know what the problem could be and how to resolve it? Or is it time to just update to an iphone 4s/5

    Thanks.

I'd try a restore before anything. It's probably software related

The time being wrong would suggest to me its a the battery.
Was the date also back to 1st jan 1970?
A replacement will cost you €30-€40 fitted depending on who you go to

if it is your battery you can buy one for a couple of euro one bay and fit it blind folded with your legs around your neck and one hand in your pocket its that easy.

if I were you id replace the battery before buying a new phone its worth a shot .
