Yahoo ads covering drop down menu.

Yahoo ads are covering drop down menu, it is only happening with the yahoo ads but it is happening with all yahoo ads. Using firefox on windows7.

I noticed that myself this morning, I'll see about getting it pulled but I need the URL for the ad - next time it appears can somebody right click it and copy the URL?

I tried that this morning when I took the screen shot but when I right clicked all I got was flash player settings, no option to copy the link.

It's not just the Yahoo ad. There was an ad for a charity (can't remember which) last week which did the same.

Saying you're experiencing the same issue won't help get any ad pulled any faster; only grabbing the URL for the ad and posting it up here will.

I have tried doing that but I don’t have the option to copy the link other than I end up at ie.yahoo.com. When I right click on the ad this is all get, no option to copy the link.

(not an offending ad just an example.)

I've talked to the ad manager and for flash advertisements where you cannot right click simply send on the URL that the advertisement leads to and they can try block it that way.

Danny, you might let me know if this info is useful. No point in me continuing to screenshot the add detail if its not.:)
Only way I know on an iPad of getting the info is holding down the add for a few seconds till the function menu appears- the add info seems to appear at the top of this- that's what the screenshot is of.

Do you have an option to copy that URL instead of opening it? If so then the copied URL would be the best thing, the screenshot helps in that I can identify the ad network (e.g. BlueLithium is Yahoo Ads) but the full URL would be best

Either way I've reported these ads to our traffic managers, hopefully they can sort it out.

Just tried it now- don't see the offending add right now but this what I got from copying adverts.ie banner- appears to work.

That'd be the type of thing that can help. If you could include that, and perhaps the landing page when you click the ad, then it'll help the traffic managers get to the ad a whole lot quicker - thanks for the help.

Cheers folks, I've reported these ads to the traffic manager for removal.

Edit: Yahoo ads have been pulled from the top ad slot, these ads should not reappear.
