    If I had a child I wouldn't let that one anywhere near him/her ... she's obnoxious

The naughty step is more commonly know as "time out". My son will do what he is told immediately if you threaten time out. It's simply a chair in the hallway that he has to sit on for 4 minutes, no toys and nothing to distract him. It was great when tantrums hit, it gives him time to calm down.

I believe she doesn't have a boyfriend. Sad

"Can I take a picture of you and put it on my fridge"..

    Aversion therapy they call it..

She is a decent interviewee, better than David Coleman (the Irish one) any day of the week. He would send everyone to sleep - kids, parents, animals ...

Gah. why is it that parenting 'experts' aren't parents...?

Was at a talk he gave once
He's actually more engaging in person
But I suspect his wife is the brains behind his particular operation
He was constantly quoting/ referencing her and saying she more calm than him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,391 ✭✭✭Justask

She sounds like she's out of breath?
Like her jeans are to tight or something. .. I'm knackered listening to her

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,444 ✭✭✭✭Skid X

    "Turn the bloody things off"

I like him find his books are very common sense based

But please tell me if you ever see a public tantrum event. It would make my week
(Think his are older than that now though)

She must be zen like in the calm stakes!

Bit sexist but I think she has suffered from the fact women get hit with the aging train unlike men.

She looks a young woman on the show. Now serious crows feet and pretty much being past her sell by date.

Wimpy old Brian May, and his wimpy songs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,351 ✭✭✭✭Harry Angstrom

I think Brian May would be happier playing with his telescope these days.

Brian's hair looks like an explosion in a mattress factory

Brian May has the worst hair do in the entire history of the world. And he has had for over 30 years now. That takes some doing folks !

Quite pleasant, although I prefer it when Brian May rocks out a bit more ... like in 'One Vision' .. where did I leave my Air Guitar? :)

I've a Child Psychology qualification myself and I firmly believe most of it is simple cop-on. I think people pay way too much attention to psychologists, no one knows your child/children like you do.

As big a Queen fan as I am, everything May and Taylor have done since Freddie died has been shocking. Fair enough, you have to keep the Queen name out there, but musicals written by Ben Elton, re-recording 'We Will Rock You' with boyband 5ive, Adam Lambert?!?!
