Some of those photo's are very striking, but some are truly depressing as a girl goes from truly pretty girl to plastic pornstar cliche.

Although some are subtle enough enhancements that improve the girls looks, most of the 'after' faces are really trowelled with makeup, like a mask. Maybe that's the point.

Agree, i think it's almost like creating an alter-ego to separate their real selfs from the job they are doing.

Personally I think the majority of them look much better with make up on. I think the older ones and ones with the lip fillers look OTT though. I think a before and after of my normal face would be similar to what you see here.

I think if you saw a celebrity before and after it would be almost the same.

I think if you saw a celebrity before and after it would be almost the same.

I think there's only one girl, with the red hair, who looks better without make-up. They all seem to improve with make-up, although it is very heavy, dramatic make-up in most cases.

There aren't many women who don't look better with a bit of make-up on, myself included. When people say "Oh she looks so much better without make-up", it's usually a lie.

Some of them are very naturally pretty and few of them really blossom with make-up on and it does enhance their looks, I think they are all good looking girls with or without make up though.

This isn't just make-up, there's also massive amounts of dodgy photoshop... Look at the colour of this girl's skin before and after. That isn't makeup

Looks like they've changed the lighting, you can see the highlights on her face reflecting it. That, and her skin turning several shades lighter haha.

Doesn't seem to be much of a lighting difference in the other pictures though.

I also agree a lot of them look better with makeup, some are OTT, but most are just picking up natural pretty features. And some of the eyeshadows are stunning, like this girl's:
