am i entitled to claim jobs seekers allowance ?

    i finish up college this may. i work 2 nights a week in a pub and im on minimum wage 8.65 an hour. the most hours i work would be 18 hours. will i be entitled to claim dole when i finish college ?

    Assuming you work 2 nights at 9 hours each your means would be approx. €35 per day worked. So you would get your normal rate less €70 per week. 18-21 is €100, 22-24 €144, 25 and over €188. If you are under 25 and giving living at home your parents income will also come into account.

    Do you claim from when lectures finish or after your last exam?

    From after your exams. You will need a letter confirming your finish date.
