Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

United to win with legimate penalty and the Internet to explode.

    2-1 United.

Based on Chelsea's recent form, I'm going for 3-1 United. Rooney to be on the bench :pac::pac::pac:

United to win 2-0 ..... With only 1 ball boy getting kicked........

    3-0 Utd :pac:

ITV & ITVhd, I changed the title to include this.

United are due an FA Cup,so 3-1 tomorrow then beat City in the semi final.

Hopefully Chelsea will be up for this and that Torres brings his satnav to find the bloody net. 2-0 to Chelsea, pretty please (with sugar on top).

I would rather City in the final. Be lot sweeter.

But tomorrow will be tough enough.

5-2 Unitd. Rooney with two, Kagawa, Evra and RVP all get one. Mata and Hazard getting one each.

Can't see past a United win here given the form of both sides.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,709 ✭✭✭✭Cantona's Collars

Good that the game kicks off at 4.30, somebody in scheduling thought of all us men who have to do the whole Mothers Day lunch thing. An early kick off would've been a nightmare.

A Chelsea win is preferable, a United win is probable.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,086 ✭✭✭markc1184

Rooney to start and score at least 2.

    3-1 United.

If Rafa wants the fans onside, he could actually start a decent team and he might even get a cheer if he wins!

(so no yossi or torres or betrand or ramires on the wings)
somehow i doubt it and see only a utd win :(

RvP doesn't start, not that much of a surprise.

Great to see Nani and Kagawa in the line up. Also Hernandez you would have to think will be on the scoresheet today.

Would prefer Chelsea to win as it means another distraction from the league for them. I reckon United will win though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,086 ✭✭✭markc1184

    That is a quality lineup.

Chelsea: Cech, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill, Cole, Ramires, Lampard, Mata, Oscar, Moses, Ba

Love Kagawa and Chico playing together so hope they impress today :)

Hopefully Hernandez can make Chelsea sit deeper. Kagawa and Rooney sharing that space in between Chelsea's defence and midfield could be fruitful.

RVP DROPPED! RVP HAS HAD A BUST UP WITH SIR ALEX AND WILL BE SOLD IN THE SUMMER EXCLUSIVE ONLY IN THE SUN

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,527 ✭✭✭RichT

So a fit John Terry only makes the bench.

Really hope I'm wrong, but I think Chelsea are going to get hammered!

Roy Keane in the studio. More unbiassed debate

It's a sad day when I'm disappointed to see Keane is commentating.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,389 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Makes me sad watching Keane talk such nonsense. No will and desire? They beat the champions in injury time this season Roy.

delighted to see Nani start.hope he has a great game.

I'm hoping for the dullest game ever, where nothing happens at all..

Keane hasn't changed his mind since mid week. What a surprise.

Really wish they had someone other than Southgate and Dixon who just get bullied by him.

That part of it's actually quite entertaining. You could see them having the discussion clearly wanting to say that it wasn't a red while Roy just sat in silence and they eventually just crumbled in their argument due to the tension :D

There is definitely a penalty in this.

ITV never cease to amaze me, the way they manage to fit in 3 four minute ad-breaks in 25 minutes...
